Pappie and Tattie

Lilly's grandparents...Pappie & Tattie, came for a short visit this week. Lilly loved having them here for her to show off all her new words and tricks.

She is getting to know them better with each visit and this time it only took about 5 minutes before she was chillin' on the couch next to them both.

Say Cheeeeeese!

Lilly will now say "cheese" when we want her to smile for the camera. It is not the most relaxed smile, but at least she is trying... and listening for once. This is a picture of her with her cute friend Shalie who came over to play this week. Both the girls are saying CHEEEESE!!!

Cute Video

Lilly loves "trying" to do the hand motions to a few songs. She is getting better. If you don't know this song you may not pick up on the hand motions that she is doing. She is trying to roll her arms around eachother, then point to her eyes, cross her arms over her chest and then point to me.

If you're happy and you know it...

Lunch with Dad

Today was Jon's once a month seminar at the senior center where he teaches elderly people about fitness and exercise as well as balance and safety. Since his schedule was free of patients he had an extra long lunch break after the seminar so we decided to go see daddy at work. Lilly was so excited to see him. Not only does she love running around his wide open clinic and playing with the physioballs she also loves the playground in his complex. Lilly got to choose the restaurant and so it was McD's...she just loves the hamburgers! We had a great time...We love our daddy!!!
Big hugs for daddy!!!

Holiday Fun

These past two weeks have been so much fun. We just love it when Jon is able to take some time off from work and spend his days at home with us. We did so many things in the last week that it feels like a whole months just went by. We took Lilly to see BOLT and she loved it...actually sat through the whole movie in her own seat...it looked like the seat what going to eat her (fold up on her) but she just sat there and enjoyed the movie experience. Then we took Lilly to the Zoo...she is starting to understand what we do at the zoo but still gets the most joy out of chasing the big fat pigeons and watching (not riding) the merry-go-round. This time Daddy bought her a churo and she had her first taste of cotton candy. Mommy ate the rest of the cotton candy and then had a headache the rest of the day.

We had a great New Years with Jon's parents and brother and Lilly's favorite girls Kayla and Jade.

And we topped it all off with Lilly's 1st NFL game and it just happened to also be a playoff game. She had a blast and was such a good girl. She loved bopping to the loud music, yelling and clapping at all the right times, riding up and down the huge escalator and the biggest thrill... riding on a big yellow school bus to our parked car. It is so fun to watch Lilly experience firsts, she is growing up and beginning to enjoy big kid stuff. So now its on to 2009...not sure if we can top the last week but we will sure try!!!
