Catching up

So...life has been busy busy and I have not been good about documenting here on the blog. I am going to start with a quick overview of Barrett's 2nd birthday. It was such a fun time with grandma and grandpa here. We did a Thomas the train theme, with blue green and red for the colors. Lots of balloons and decorations and the most delicious chocolate cake ever. Barrett got a lot of new cars from grandma and grandpa , a home made car mat from me and the best gift ever for a two year old...the mopi bike. This kid has been in love with his mopi motorcycle since the minute he pulled it from the box. At two years old this kid is all boy...loves running, jumping, climbing, wrestling. He is talking in full sentences and will tell you all about Thomas or Cars. He is also my animal lover and enjoys the zoo much more than his sister did at this age...he even rode a camel with mommy.

Halloween

Our Halloween celebrations literally took an entire week this year. We started it off with our Church Trunk or Treat. Lilly dressed as a garden fairy and Barrett was a pirate minus the hat. The next day Lilly got to dress up for school and she decided to be Snow White and what a beautiful snow white she was. We even went trick or treating at daddy's new clinic. For the grand finale, we did the good old neighborhood trick or treating. Its amazing how far kids will walk for some sugar. Lilly dressed as snow white and barrett went as a skeleton. It was a super fun week and the kids look cute no matter what they wear.

The END!

My Girl

I know a girl,

She puts the COLOR

Inside of my world
Lilly participated in her first Primary Program at church today. She can be a very shy girl when put on the spot so we were not sure how today would go. She practiced her part "When I see the missionaries they always smile at everyone" for two weeks. She did awesome today and spoke so clearly into the microphone. I loved watching her sing and couldn't resist giving her the good ole' thumbs up! And of course mom cried "happy tears". Just love my girl...she makes us work hard as parents, but the reward is oh so good!

Felt, Felt and...yes more felt...

I just wanted to post about this fun little project. I found in on ...you guessed it...Pinterest. The way Barrett is with his cars lately, I just knew this would be a big hit for his upcoming #2 birthday. It was a lot of work, hard on the knees and back, lots of glue gun burns...but totally worth it. This first picture was taken once I decided I was completely addicted to adding more stuff to this thing. Our house with our address so he can learn that

The corn we drive by all summer long and the windmill of course (I think its my favorite part)

Costco, the gas station and the fire station

The duck pond and the new temple

Our church

San Tan Mall

Target, Walmart and McDonalds

The Gateway Airport
and the finished product
