Little Monster

Our ward Trunk or Treat was last night. Lilly has been begging me to be the Cupcake that she saw two months ago in the pottery barn kids catalog (ya, not happening) We were lucky enough to find a "cupcake" costume at Marshalls so Lilly is Little Miss Cupcake. For Barrett's costume I knew I needed to use his best asset...his hair. So that narrowed it down to either Dracula or a punk rocker with a mowhawk. We went for Dracula and I am so glad we did...I needed a good laugh and after I got his face paint on and his hair slicked back I could not stop laughing. It is super hard to get one picture with both kids looking at the camera and smiling but we tried our best. Enjoy the photos, I am sure these ones will be cracking us up for years to come.

Some Good Walkin'

So last night around 6pm Lilly decided that whatever was in her stomach needed to come out. For three hours she was throwing up every 15 min. and is now fine. While mom and dad were running around trying to find a bucket, clean up puke, wipe up Lilly, change her clothes and disinfect ourselves and everything around...Barrett decided to walk. Once things calmed down a bit we were able to get some cute
videos of him trying out his new skills.

Hip Hip Hooray for Cooler Weather

We are loving the nice cool weather that we are finally getting around here. Trips to the playground are now a daily occurance. Barrett is getting pretty brave on the slides and loves diving down head first...yikes! Lilly is such a fashonista with her blue shades on...how did I end up with such a girly girl?

Workin on Walkin

Barrett is taking his first steps. He is walking a little more each day. It won't be long until he is running after his sister. This video is not his best work, but its the only video we have of any steps so it will do.HIs best has been about 10 steps so far. Hard to believe in just a few more weeks we will have a 1 year old running around!

Football and Fun

Watching the Wisconsin game. The students have this tradition of jumping up and down to the the song Jump Around at the beginning of the 4th quarter. They showed this on ESPN (and actually it is even cooler when you are there, it feels like the whole stadium is shaking) and Lilly and Barrett got in on the action. Go Badgers!!!

I snuck up on Barrett being naughty in the bathroom with my ipod...here are some more of his killer dance moves....and some knee walking...aparently this kid knows how to walk he just prefers to do it on his knees.

Bubba's Moves

Barrett loves Kailan and has ever since he was about 4 months old. She is his first love. He loves to dance with her. At the end of the video when he slams his hands into the TV (something he knows is a no no) he turns and points his finger at me to say no no no...he does this all the time. This kid is a riot!!

Momma's Boy

My little man is 10 months old...crazy!!! He is growing up fast. Here are some pics of the handsome little devil and his goofy sister too. These two love eachother...I took these pics right after they both woke up from nap time, so pardon the messy dos. He is seriously a happy little guy...when mommy is around. He has become pretty clingy lately...i think its because i am now working and doing young women's stuff so I am leaving a lot more. It is so flattering to have someone want to be near you so badly...but it can also be quite annoying when you are trying to get things done. I love this boy to death...he makes my heart smile.
